Wow, is the weather incredible right now in Vail & Beaver Creek. And the forecast for the next seven days is perfect: sunny, mid-70s, with cool, clear nights.

So far, it's been a rather cool, wet summer in the Vail/Beaver Creek area. The snowmelt was late, making for a late start for the rafting season, which is thankfully now in full swing. With the rivers starting to calm down and clear up, the superb fly-fishing we all know, love and protect is just around the corner.

The golf courses are spectacular.. green and smooth. All of the mountain bike and hiking trails are packed smooth; no dust here this summer! The wildflowers are particularly prolific and brilliant this year.




And ooh la la, after a week of monsoonal rain, the air is so clear and sweet! If it's hot, muggy, rainy, snowy, or otherwise miserable where you are, come to Vail/Beaver Creek! What the heck, it's perfect here, and there are lots of lodging deals available to make it easy to drop everything and head on up!
