The Teva Mountain Games start in just two days! There have been some rumors flying that some of the races have been cancelled because of snow and/or high water, but at this point all the events are planned to take place as scheduled. Crews from the Vail Valley Foundation and Vail Mountain have been working hard for weeks to prepare the courses for all the competition.

On a related note, it's time once again to join forces with Bear Naked, the all-natural granola, cereal and trail mix company, and give a little something back to the great outdoors by participating in the 2011 edition of the Bear Naked Trail Day on Friday, June 3. Held in conjunction with the Teva Mountain Games, at the Bear Naked Trail Day volunteers will help members of the US Forest Service with some much-needed trail maintenance on Game Creek Trail in Minturn.
