Skateboard Clinics

Children ages seven to 14 can learn or refine their skateboarding skills at the Vail Skatepark, located on top of the LionsHead parking structure during the summer.

Bring your Board!

One of the reasons skateboarding is such a great sport is that it's easy to bring your gear with you on vacation! This summer, don't forget to pack your skateboard, pads and helmet... the Vail Skate Park rocks!

Summer Skateboard Clinics

Skateboard Clinics are held from 10 a.m. to noon on Tuesdays, June 14- August 16. Learn to skateboard at the Vail Skatepark with instructors who will teach everything from basic skills and etiquette to perfecting a boardslide or kickflip. Cost per clinic is $25 or $20 for Vail Recreation District and Eagle County residents. Purchase five sessions and costs are $20 and $15 respectively. Skateboards and helmets required, wrist guards and knee pads recommended. Private lessons also are available.

Drop-in Skateboarding

Drop in (literally) at the Vail Skatepark, located on the top level of the LionsHead parking structure. It's free and open to the public, summer through fall, dawn to dusk. Helmets are required. Knee pads and wrist guards are recommended.
