Airport | Winter 2008-2009 Route Map | Winter 2008-2009 Flight Schedule About Eagle County Airport In Summer 2009, the Eagle County Airport (EGE) will be closed to commercial aircraft as EGE's primary runway will be closed for maintenance. The closure is scheduled for April 15 - August 31, 2009 with dates subject to change. Smaller aircraft will still have the ability to land on an interim runway while primary runway maintenance is conducted. Commercial service is expected to resume on Sept. 2, when American Airlines will fly into EGE through the fall season into winter.
