Wondering what the weather's like today? We've got the tools to help you plan your perfect day in Vail and Beaver Creek.

Our daily weather report is a custom report that our very own weatherman, Gregor Neal, a long-time Beaver Creek ski instructor and science guy, writes for Vail.net every day of the year!

You'll enjoy Mark Sassi's fly fishing report. Mark is passionate about our local rivers, and he always provides an entertaining report with inside tips on the best spots to fish, as well as the most productive flies to use.

Web cams are updated every few minutes, giving you the latest visual on your favorite spot in town or on the mountain.

Our seasons typically run like this:
  • Ski season starts around the third week in November, usually with limited runs open.  By mid-December, ski season is in full swing and the mountains have full coverage, offering some of the best snow conditions in the world. The ski areas are open through mid-April.
  • April and May are value seasons. Things are warming up and the snow melts. Check lodging specials and your favorite restaurants for great off-season deals!
  • Memorial Day week-end kicks off our summer season, which runs through Labor Day. Weather-wise, the days start getting predictably warm around July 1. The temperature in Vail/Beaver Creek in summer rarely climbs above 85 degrees, and evenings are delightfully cool.
  • Fall,  in September and October, is fabulous, with warm sunny days, cool autumn nights, brilliant leaves, and value pricing at our area businesses.
  • Early November can still be lovely, although by then, we're doin' a snow dance!
With over 300 days of sunshine annually, the conditions in Colorado's Rocky Mountains is typically superb. Come any time!
