The party continues in Minturn this Thursday night at the Minturn Concert Series. The concert will be held at Little Beach Park and Amphitheater, a beautiful setting on the Eagle River in the historic town of Minturn, just 15 minutes from Vail and Beaver Creek resorts. Bring the kids and your favorite picnic dinner (3.2 cans allowed, no glass) and enjoy some great music in a great setting. Local favorites "Schwing Daddy", known for "High Voltage Acoustic Music, Born in the Colorado Rockies," play at this week's show. Schwing Daddy is all about honest lyrics, stories about small town life and bringing a fun-filled show to the stage.Presented by The Minturn Community Fund and Town of Minturn, the shows begin at 6 p.m. The concerts are rain or shine. Other free shows in July are Boneless-Sloppy Mountain String Band on July 21st and BLT (Brian Loftus, Tony Gulizia and Justin Allison) on July 28.
August shows include The Hazel Miller Band, The Congress, The Sessh and The Min’urn Express. The 2011 Minturn Concert Series is the product of a group of local hardworking volunteers.
Should be a wonderful evening in a little gem of a setting over in Minturn. Hope to see you there!
