EagleVail (May 24, 2011) – Guests enjoyed free admission, free food, free fun, games and prizes at the EagleVail Pool’s Grand Opening on last Monday, May 30 from 4 to 8 pm! Sponsored by The Parent’s Handbook and the EagleVail Property Owner’s Association and the EagleVail Metropolitan District, the Grand Opening culminated a year of construction, and many more than that of planning, design and fundraising by the community to create a fantastic amenity for the entire valley.

The six-lane, 25-meter pool with zero-entry recreation pool, slide, water features, grassy lawns and sheltered barbecue area make the EagleVail Pool a unique family recreation spot in the valley. The pool is truly a community project, designed by Snowden Architects, built by R.A. Nelson and Maximum Comfort Pool & Spa; the project manager was Leah Mayer – all businesses which are headquartered in EagleVail. A grant from Eagle County to help offset the solar heating system and a grant from Great Outdoors Colorado lottery funds helped make the pool possible.

Pool programs include swim lessons, adult conditioning, swim fitness, Yoga on the Lawn, and more. Daily and Season passes, ten-punch cards and Swim/Golf passes are available. Children under five swim free at the EagleVail Pool! Starting Saturday, May 28 the pool will be open daily until Sept. 5, then on weekends through September. It is located at 450 Eagle Rd. next to the EagleVail Pavilion and park. 970-949-1203 .

Golf Course fully opened on May 28:

EagleVail Golf Club opened all 18 holes on Saturday, May 28, and Value Season pricing began as well. EagleVail Residents pay $55, Eagle County residents pay $65 and non-residents pay $75 (includes cart). Ten-round punch cards are available starting at $600. Willow Creek Par 3 also opened on Saturday offering one of the best golf values in the valley. Adults pay $10 and Juniors under 18 years pay just $7. A Willow Creek receipt gets you a 50% discount at the new pool and vice versa, so a pool and golf day is always an option!

Tennis Courts Resurfaced:

Tennis aficionados will appreciate the newly resurfaced tennis courts at EagleVail, adjacent to the pool and Willow Creek. There is something for every member of the family at EagleVail this summer so come out and play in EagleVail!
