Vail - known for fine international cuisine

Vail locals are spoiled not only by their gorgeous surroundings but by the variety and quality of restaurants in the region. Because of the International clientele, as well as the legacy of several European chefs who found their way to Vail over 40 years ago, there are a huge number of restaurants in this small, quaint village. European and wild game restaurants like Pepi's in Vail Village offer excellent dining in an authentic alpine setting.

Each restaurant has its own distinctive style and culinary delights. If you prefer rowdy and dive-y, bistro-ish and upscale or elegant and romantic you will not be disappointed in any Vail restaurant. Or if you prefer food from a particular region or country, be it American, Chinese, Japanese, Mexican, Italian, French or European, you can find it easily by checking out the list below.

Beaver Creek - where food is art!

In the early 80's, Beaver Creek's restaurants were located at the bottom of the mountain in a huge canvas "bubble". What a difference today! One of America's most upscale resorts boasts a plethora of fine dining establishments as well as the more casual kid-friendly burger and pizza joints. Some of the Vail Valley's most beautiful restaurants are in Beaver Creek, offering spectacular views and delicious seasonal food for all tastes. For American cuisine try Vista in Edwards, only a short drive from Beaver Creek. Here they serve up fresh, seasonal ingredients found locally in one of the most beautiful settings in the Vail Valley overlooking the golf course. Or check out 4 Eagle Ranch just down the road for some real American barbeque and family fun.
