RTP's Realski application is the first augmented reality application for mountain resorts. For the first time, skiers and snowboarders can use augmented reality (AR) for navigating trails and on-mountain features at select North American ski resorts.

The REALSKITM application requires the features only found in the iPhone 3GS and OS 3.1. REALSKITM utilizes the camera, compass, GPS, and other 3GS features to overlay ski runs and key points of interest in augmented reality.

Version 1.1 includes demo maps for five resorts and offers more than 80 mountains in North America from which to choose.

The first version of REALSKITM is available in iTunes® App Store and people can download the initial version for free.
