Summer at its Peak
Summer is in full swing in the mountains with unbeatable weather for the time of year. While the monsoon will make a come back this week, don't let that put a damper on the myriad of outdoor activities, concerts and other events happening around the valley. Currently enjoying and looking forward to warm days with low humidity and temperatures in the high 70's mild morning temps are a plus for biking both road and mountain with off road trails being in excellent shape with limited dust for this time of year.
Rivers are still running strong due to high early summer rainfalls and the cloudy days which slowed the snow melt, paving the way for great rafting for the next couple of months. No major changes are expected in the weather over the next few weeks with sunny to partly cloudy skies, temperatures in the high 70's to low 80's and cooler nights. Take advantage of the perfect summer mountain climate now, when it really is a dream to play in the Vail/Beaver Creek region, the ultimate mountain setting.
