Fall Color Watch: The Perfect Weekend

Sep 26, 2009

After a week of snow, rain, and unseasonably cold temperatures, the blue skies are back. With temperatures reaching the upper 60s today and into the 70s tomorrow, this weekend is the perfect time to get outside and enjoy the colorful landscape.

Vail and Beaver Creek are still open for hiking and biking - two great ways to get lost in the beautiful fall foliage.

Make sure to check out our website for the ongoing lodging, dinning, shopping, and activities discount and deals. There is a reason fall is so popular among the locals and the tourists. Even though there are plenty of deals, the resorts are filling up so make your reservation soon.

As I get ready to head out and climb some 14ers out of Alma, CO, I am making sure to bring my camera! The colors are getting more vibrant daily, so we hope you can make it out to Colorado before the leaves have fallen and the snow sets in!
