This just in! Mark Sassi of the Gore Creek Fly Fisherman is reporting an incredible increase in river clarity.

Mark reports that the Eagle River has cleared virtually overnight, giving about 3 feet of clarity of the shore.

As the Colorado, Eagle, and Arkansas rivers have been holding at incredibly high levels over the past few months, the clarity hasn't been ideal for fly fishing.

With this dramatic lift in the clarity of the river, fisherman can expect sublime fishing conditions along the banks of the Eagle river.
